The small professional C568 B capacitor capsule combines high directivity and a wide frequency range. It is a perfect tool for theater, sound reinforcement, and film / TV applications. Thanks to its compact and lightweight design, the C568 B is ideal for on-camera use. Below 500 Hz, it functions as a hypercardioid microphone; above 500 Hz, the acoustic interference tube introduces increasing directivity. A switchable 12dB / octave 120Hz Roll-Off filter effectively eliminates impact and wind noise. The rugged all-metal housing of the C568 B contains the built-in preamp, which requires 9-52 V phantom power. The package includes a special foam windshield as well as a stand adapter.
