Al.So Dynax2 is a mono-controlled stereo optical compressor. The 2 channels are therefore controlled by a single command for the 2 channels. This command controls: the compression rate, the Release, the Attack and the Ratio.

In Bypass mode: This makes it possible to compare the original signal with the processed signal, it lights up weakly in blue, also confirming that the device is powered on. In this state, the VU control displays the level of the incoming L / R signal.
• In active mode: it is fully lit and allows to display the output level of the signal of the left or right channel or the level of the gain reduction according to the setting of the VU switch.
• Peak: it lights up in bright red offering, in addition, a very practical visual alert when, for example, the device is placed at a distance, such as during a sound system.
• 2 orifices placed under the VU: the one on the left allows calibration by screwdriver of the 0 VU in Compression, Limit and Brickwall mode. The one on the right calibrates in "" AntiDyna "" mode.
• Sidechain (notched): controls compression in 3 ways.
• Stereo position: by the stereo signal, as the name suggests.
• LEFT position: by the signal of the left channel, for example for use on a mono signal.
• EXT position: Compression is controlled by the signal input via the rear panel 1/4 "" TRS jack.
• Bass Drive (notched): A sidechain filter which controls the compressor by signals higher than the displayed frequencies (100Hz, 200Hz and 300Hz). Once active, higher compression can be applied while maintaining very low frequencies. In the Full position, the filter is deactivated.
• ATTACK: adjusts the attack times of the compressor 4 compression ratio: COMPRESSOR approximately 4: 1, LIMITER: approximately 10: 1, BRICKWALL: infinite: 1 (impossible to exceed the threshold) and ANTIDYNA:
