The SS-CDR250N is a networkable CD/memory card recorder/player with a variety of remote control options designed for professional broadcast studio and fixed installation applications. It records in WAV or MP3 format to SD/SDHC/SDXC media and USB memory stick, or in MP3 and audio CD format to CD (slot-in front panel mechanism). As the recorder is able to connect via network to an FTP server, it can automatically upload completed recordings, or download files for playback. Time synchronization via SNTP server is also possible.

Thanks to its two SD card slots, the SS-CDR250N provides increased security for your valuable files compared to a conventional recorder. Indeed, it allows you to create a backup during recording, on the second memory card; the recorder can also automatically switch to the second card once the first is full. In addition, the device automatically closes the files if the power supply is interrupted during recording, which avoids losing all the recorded data.

The SS-CDR250N offers a variety of control options: the RC-SS150 wired controller features a convenient user interface with a color LCD screen and 12 buttons for quick access to playback (Flash Start). There is also a dedicated app, available for iOS and Android, to control the transports and change various settings. You can also integrate the recorder into existing environments, via serial or parallel control.

On the audio connectivity side, the SS-CDR250N is equipped with balanced and unbalanced analog inputs/outputs, as well as digital inputs/outputs in S/PDIF coaxial and AES/EBU format with sample rate converter (SRC). An optional Dante card supports two input and two output channels for Dante audio networks.
