In conjunction with two suitable microphones, the UMS 20 can be used to set up almost all known stereo recording methods (XY, MS, ORTF, Blumlein). The mechanism has four detented positions and can also be locked in any intermediate position.
Mounting is by means of a 5/8″-27 NS threaded nipple with an outer diameter of 20 mm (adapter for 3/8″ and 1/2″ threads supplied).

The device can be combined with the SG 20 articulated clamp for stand mounting or with the A 20 S elastic suspension (both not included), which facilitate mounting and allow adjustment of inclinations.
