The flexible neck violin microphone, using an omnidirectional capsule, adapts to the instrument's tail using a padded backrest support.
The microphone clips into this holder allowing the user to adjust the position of the microphone.
The flexible neck can be bent to allow exact microphone positioning to get exactly the sound you want.
The microphone can be taken apart easily between songs and the entire system can be removed in seconds leaving no evidence or causing damage.
We are also making a version that uses a high quality wireless miniature transmitter that adapts to your should rest.

Attach the widest part of the microphone neck to the end of the cable, to the clip on the backrest. Then secure the backrest to the tail of your instrument using the built-in elastic.Please try the mic in a variety of positions, we recommend above the f-hole on the low side, flush with the bridge as a good place to start, but the optimal positioning depends on the instrument and the subjective nature of the sound.Do not be afraid to experiment, the neck is flexible and will not be damaged by reasonable handling and the mic may be easily disassembled to reposition on the treble side instead. If you are using a mixer with phantom power, no battery should be inserted in the drive unit and the switch can be left in the off position.
