The new Schertler 2P is a dynamic contact microphone with Class A electronics, fully symmetrical and active.specially developed to reproduce the sound complexity of the Piano, in both amplification and recording situations, thanks to the "Stat of the Art" active filtering technology developed by Schertler SA, the DYN-P-P48 allows to capture the best qualities of instruments. This leads to more "immediate" results for the user, with an incredibly subtle and fine sound, with only a minimum of adjustments. The DYN -P- P48 comes with a new, sleek and lightweight design, making it even less obtrusive and more discreet for the musician. The microphone is supplied with Schertler's own cable that is both robust and torsion-resistant. This new cable has been designed to withstand the rigors of everyday use while providing the best possible performance results. A balanced XLR connector allows direct connection to an acoustic guitar amplifier equipped with a Phantom power supply and balanced XLR input, or the microphone input on a mixing console. The DYN-P-P48 microphone works very effectively on a wide range of amplification systems.Designed for use on upright or grand pianos, the DYN-P-P48 can be easily and safely applied to the soundboard of the instruments, thanks to an adhesive compound. Note: This microphone is active and requires a 48V Phantom power supply.Schertler's flagship DYN transducer series was launched over 20 years ago. Two decades later, as microphone technology has evolved, Schertler SA has redesigned the DYN series to meet today's even more demanding recording needs than in the past. The new DYN-P48 series retains the best features of the original DYN microphones while incorporating "Stat of the Art" active filtering technology that results in better sound quality, a lighter and more elegant design, and a more user-friendly operation for the end user.
