The Radial JDI Stereo is a passive DI box designed to handle extreme signal levels without distortion of any kind. Unlike an active DI - which is limited by the amplifier's buffer rail voltage - the Radial JDI Stereo employs a pair of Jensen audio transformers that both balance the signal and reduce impedance to allow for long cable lengths. No power supply is required. The magic comes from the Jensen transformers found in the circuit. Jensen transformers are known for their ability to properly grind transients while providing a silky smoothness that is reminiscent of vintage equipment.
