The VL4000 Spot incorporates all the tools to create effective dynamic lighting on any stage. Every aspect of the fixture has been designed with performance in mind. With its 1200W lamp, the VL4000 Spot generates 33,000 lumens in standard mode, and 25,000 lumens in studio mode, the latter benefiting from an extremely quiet cooling system. These modes can be selected via DMX, RDM or from the machine's menu. High-resolution optics provide outstanding beam uniformity and an unprecedented contrast ratio. A 5:1 zoom covers an aperture range of 9 to 47 degrees without sacrificing brightness. A new color system enables CYM color mixing, with CTO correction and two 5-position color wheels, allowing it to achieve harmonious color blending in slow fade or instantaneous. The two opposing fixed color wheels allow for unique color effects, offering a multitude of multicolor combinations.

The VL4000 Spot features two gobo wheels with a new collection of gobos optimized for texture and projection effects. Two animation wheels allow the creation of dynamic motion effects as well as Dichro Fusion color effects. The beam can be fine-tuned with the 4-blade shutter system and a mechanical iris, complemented by an independent prism with divergence control and variable frost.

Extremely flexible dimming functions combined with independent cutting knives allow for unprecedented effects. A new 8-point hanging system allows the fixture to be hung in a variety of positions.
