Is the S90 ES an 88-key digital hammer-action piano with the sonic flexibility of a synthesizer, or a synthesizer with the best piano samples ever created? In fact, it's an ideal combination of both. With multi-voiced stereo samples borrowed from Yamaha's handcrafted S700 grand piano, reverb and damping effects, and a progressive pedal function, the S90 ES reproduces the most expressive acoustic piano sound Yamaha has ever offered in a synthesizer. With a 128-note polyphony sound generator based on the popular MOTIF ES (including 8 insert effects, 2 system effects and separate master effects), and Studio Connections, mLAN and PLG compatibility, this synthesizer takes advantage of all the power and flexibility of our MOTIF ES workstation line. The S90 ES is the perfect symbiosis between a synthesizer and a piano.
