The Korg Kronos 73 Black is a music workstation with a wide range of sounds, integrated editor, 8" TouchView display, 16-track sequencer, 16-track audio recorder and extensive sampling capabilities. The keyboard features 9 separate sound engines, each dedicated to authentically reproducing its respective instrument type, including pianos, vintage keyboard sounds, wheel organs, ethnic instruments, plucked instruments, analog synths and more. The Korg Kronos 73 sequencer can access any combination of sound engines and imported samples, and the 16-track audio recorder can be used to record vocals and instruments. For arrangement and inspiration, the instrument includes Korg's proprietary KARMA technology for generating endless phrases, drum grooves and full accompaniment tracks based on the notes and chords played. Drum tracks automatically generate drum patterns, ranging from a simple reference rhythm to a full drum track. The Kronos 73's open sampling system can quickly sample an external audio source in any operating mode, and can even sample the performance of the keyboard itself. The User Sample Bank allows you to load and play custom samples, taking advantage of the large capacity of the SSD. In addition, the Kronos 73 functions as an advanced control surface, with a four-way joystick, a ribbon controller, two assignable switches and a Vector joystick. Nine knobs, eight buttons and a number of switches allow real-time interaction with the keyboard sounds.
