The MAUI 11 G2 is equipped with three 6.5‘ woofers, eight 3’ full-range drivers and two 1" neodymium compression drivers. These produce powerful bass, balanced mid-range and smooth, precise treble, and are driven by a lightweight Class D amplifier that delivers a peak power output of 1,000 watts. LD Systems’ DynX® DSP technology ensures superior performance and distortion-free sound at all times. It includes a multiband limiter to prevent clipping, an equaliser, a compressor and a 3-way crossover with time alignment.

The MAUI 11 G2’s line array configuration delivers greater throw, excellent feedback rejection and much wider coverage, eliminating the need for additional monitor speakers. The tweeter waveguide has been developed using the Boundary Element Method (BEM), a numerical simulation of acoustic dispersion and propagation. This waveguide reduces reflections from floors and ceilings, eliminates side lobes and thus achieves uniform dispersion, so that the audience will hear with the same clarity from the back row as from the front.

To control the entire system, the MAUI features a built-in 4-channel mixer, presets for mono and stereo modes, and Bluetooth® audio.
