Beam shapes, immersive beam shapes are one of the most wanted and requested outcomes of lighting by artists, lighting designers, and audiences anywhere: it is being done for decades in arenas with many luminaires, and we are now seeing the power of beam fixtures increase in order to allow such advanced beam shapes in stadiums or outdoors events.

But what about smaller venues, the heart of our industry, where 90% of shows take place?

For venues with a capacity between 500 and 3000 people, most of the time such beam shapes cannot be achieved by combining dozens or hundreds of moving lights and the necessary trusses: either the venue is simply not large enough, the logistics are too limiting or the budget is too low.

This is what the IVL Photon brings to the industry:

This technology-packed luminaire is the result of 5 years of R&D dedicated to giving smaller productions the magnitude of big arena experiences. With its innovative moving core combined with the renowned 8 tilts system (2 sides by tilt, mirror and frost), the IVL Photon has 3 main outputs:

immersive (mirror), decorative (frost) and creative punch (moving core).
A standard DMX control provides endless possibilities to customize the outputs to each moments: 9 gobos (creating from 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 to 256 beams), dimmer and RGB control for each of the 8 mirror tilts, and an electronic shutter. Never had a luminaire allowed such a level of creativity while being so easy to use. IVL Photon can be incorporated into any kind of show or event thanks to its compact design, extreme versatility, and low logistics requirements.
