Equivalent to the stand-alone dbx 160XT,the 903’s features make it possible toachieve large amounts of compression with-out undesirable side effects.
The 903 usespatented, true RMS detection to provideaudibly superior compression and limiting.
The 903 also uses dbx’s patentedOverEasy® soft-knee threshold for a smoothonset of compression.Rear panel access to the the RMS detectorallows the compressor to be triggered bysignals other than the audio input. Negativecompression ratios are also available forspecial effects.
