The Red Eye 3D Phantom is the new and improved major revision of the popular Little Labs Redeye direct box/re-amp box. Today more and more engineers are re-amping, and we at Little Labs know what re-amping is all about. We made this major new revision of the Redeye because we wanted to continue to make the best, most flexible, easiest to use, and most reasonably priced reamp and direct box tool.

For easy and accurate re-amplification, the Redeye 3D allows you to listen to your entire recording chain, from the Redeye 3D direct box, to the mic preamp, to the digital audio workstation or tape deck, to the Redeye 3D re-amp to your guitar amp. In DI (DI box) mode, the instrument/re-amp output on the front of the Redeye 3D functions as a THRU signal allowing you to simultaneously power your guitar amp while providing a signal from the XLR output on the rear panel to your mic preamp and DAW or tape deck. In re-amp mode, the signal at the instrument/re-amp output on the front of the Redeye 3D comes from the line level output of your DAW or tape deck, which converts the signal to a HI z level to feed your guitar amp. This simple way of listening through the chain (re-amp mode) and bypassing the mic preamp or your DAW or tape deck (DI mode) makes it very easy to adjust levels. This ensures a faithful reamped guitar sound.
