The diffuser fits securely into the integrated mounting channel within the Sceptron body. IPS has a full range of diffuser options in stock to create lots of different looks from the Sceptron units. They are typically available both in the standard white/opal finish or a smoked finish. The standard white/opal finish gives maximum brightness and widest viewing angles. However, they will look like white bars when turned off. The smoked finish is more of a stealth option and helps the fixture blend into darker backgrounds, sets or truss setups. The trade-off is that the output is slightly reduced with the smoked finish.
